During my time in Sweden I was approached by the famous Nocturnal Models modelling agency for a photo shoot to be part of their upcoming calendar. I won’t be giving further info on the specifics of the shoot until the calendar is complete but once it is you will find the full shoot published in my galleries.

Time for an update on my current status and projects! I currently have several live shoots coming up, these include Dimmu Borgir in September and then The Birthday Massacre in October. As usual the images will be published in my portfolio shortly after each shoot.

I will also be posting the shots taken during my time in Sweden with the band Deathstars so please keep an eye out for those. For those who are interested in seeing my multi-camera editing skills I am in the process of adding some live Deathstars videos to my portfolio.

I am also currently taking on a lot more model photography so if you are interested in booking a shoot please do get in contact, I am also currently running special rates on these shoots!

Another piece of news is my recent upgrade from my trust Canon 300D camera body to the mighty Canon 1D Mark III which was recently released in Europe. So you should be seeing a lot more experimental work appearing as I put it through its paces!

The Deathstar fans amongst you may have seen my latest designs on their latest international tour and now in their web store. I was hired to design the latest tour merch which included five t-shirts and underwear! My photography also featured on "Cats" t-shirt design as there was not an exisiting photo of him in this style.

There will be a lot more photos of Deathstars added shortly to the new live galleries and hopefuly some other material that we have been working on during this latest tour.

I have also just been hired by the well known and long running band Mortiis! I currently work web mastering their site and other online maintanance. There is also some new live photography being added to the live page from the latest Deathstars tour where they were supporting.

I've also been working on my live photography page. Shortly you will find many new galleries of my live shoots organised by band and date with several 100 shots per photoshoot, many of these previously unseen/published.

In March I will be shooting a promotional photo set for Peavey featuring their newly sponsored artists, Deathstars! Check back around the 8th-9th March to see the shots!

I will also be with Deathstars on the UK leg of their April tour shooting further live sets and also a new Deathstars promo set.

In other news Matt-Adamson.com is undergoing a bit of an overhaul. Im currently developing new galleries so that it will be easier for you guys to browse my work. The photography live gallery especialy has become a bit clogged up, hence why I havent posted much recently. Once its done everything will be in neat sub categories and much easier to view!

Also I'll be celebrating my 20th birthday on the 12th Feb! So feel free to send your greetings to my PO Box on the contact page! :P

I have recently been working with Deathstars on live shoots and a pre gig shoot. I will be going through the images I took processing them and selecting the best to be uploaded here and onto my myspace profile which can be found via the contact page.

I also had an interview with Whiplasher which will be posted on DeathStars.co.uk as soon as I grab half an hour to write it from the audio recording.

So check back for these photo sets soon and hopefully there will be more to come in future as the guys were a complete pleasure to work with!

I have just returned from Whitby Goth weekend with a fair few shots of landscape and portraits including the UK Garrison of the 501st! These guys do great work, fund raising for several charities so if you see them around be sure to donate.

The shots will be added over the next few days so be sure to check back. There are a few of the 501st already up in portraits.

The next live photoshoot has arrived! A great combination of bands which should provide some great shots, I will be shooting Enslaved, Zyklon and 1349 this Sunday Night at the Manchester Acadamy. Those of you that are attending feel free to say hey if you spot me.

Latest news, I have taken on a large project which for now will remain under wraps but I will be taking on models so if you want to have a go please contact me with some examples of previous work and I can give you a few bits of info.

The shots from round 2 with My Ruin were added to the site for those who have not noticed or checked them out yet, they are in the photography > live section.

I am also still taking on live photography, I have a few bands lined up so far but there is still space for more! So if you are a band and have a tour or new album coming up let me know!

Well then, its time for round two with My Ruin. I was asked back by the fantastic Tarrie B to their next gig to do some more live photography as well as some shots before hand.

This came around after her comment on the previous shots I had taken (on view in live photography). The new shots should be up around the 7th - 8th July so make sure you check back.

I have also been approached by two other bands, Gods of Hell Fire and Lazarus BlackStar to do some promo photography as well as various other bits of media.

Well Dark Siren and Siren Synthetics have now been completed and you could say are flying high after their successful launch.

My next project will be a short film on which I am working with a good friend. He has come up with a fantastic story line which I have been scripting. Once this is done I will be shooting then editing.

Once production has begun I will post some behind the scenes so be sure to check back.

I am currently preparing for the launch of the UK based gothic fashion company DarkSiren.co.uk.

Dark Siren is a company I have been working closely with since it was first founded. They aim to provide low priced Gothic Fashion products from Synthetic Hair to Bloody Mary Makeup to Alchemy Gothic.

I have currently been photographing all products and working flat out on the online store. I will also be working on promotional media for the launch.

Well my new design is well underway. I am still populating it with my latest and oldest work.

The new design complies with all current W3 standards including WCAG which means the site is accessible to everyone. It also uses XHTML and CSS so that the design loads fast with no wait.

I have just uploaded the shots from the recent My Ruin gig. Its safe to say they played a fantastic show and I got some equally fantastic photos there.

The first of the live videos I am editing together for Trash Light Vision has just been uploaded to the video page hot off my hard drive so download and check it out now.

Just helped conduct an interview with Acey Slade of Trash Light Vision which went great. I have to comment that he is a great friendly guy and a big thanks for allowing the interview and photos.

The interview will be released at a later date by NataliaV of DarkSiren.co.uk who I am currently working with.

Added a few samples of the photos I shot, few less then usual as I was also shooting video at Aceys request. I will be editing the video in the next few weeks so check for it being released on the video page.

The My Dying Bride gig went well despite that I had to dodge around head bangers rather then have a safe place to shoot.

I have just added a few samples of the 63 images I shot at the gig so check them out on the photography page. Soon I will hopefully be adding a Live Photography section to the site so that I can make the photography section a bit tidier and easier to look through but you will have to check back for that.

Also check back soon as I have some Trash Light Vision shoots approaching which should be a lot of fun and provide a great opportunity to get some awesome shots of the guys in action and hopefully some none live shots.
